The Oat Bar is one of two bar types by Eurosport nutrition. This one is based on two healthy, natural foods: oatmeal and real fruit. The Oat Bar has a high concentration of slow release and complex carbohydrates. Together they ensure that your blood sugar stays stable for the short and longer term. The big advantage is that you will not feel hungry and you will avoid hitting the wall (for longer). It is therefore recommended to have the Oat Bar at the start of a race/ game or extended training session. The Oat Bar deliberately contains a small amount of natural fibres (2,7 gram per bar). Fibres give a feeling of saturation for a longer period of time. This makes exercise more pleasant because no one likes to exercise while feeling hungry.
