FAQ heated products

Wie funktionieren die beheizbaren Produkte?

Our heated products feature a sewn-in heating element. It is powered by a rechargeable battery that attaches to the product using snap fasteners.

Wo genau heizen die unterschiedlichen Produkte?

Zanier Heated Socks: These heated socks feature a heating element that evenly warms the toes from above and below. This combats the cold right where it starts: at the toes.
Zanier Heated Gloves: In these heated gloves, the heating element is located in each individual finger. This means all five fingers are heated individually from above and below.

Recommendation: When choosing heated gloves, pay special attention to selecting the right size to ensure optimal heat transfer from the textile heating elements to your fingertips.

Waschanleitung & Pflegehinweise

Zanier Heated Socks: Remove the lithium packs before washing. Wash the socks in the included laundry bag at 30 °C on the gentle cycle, spin at a maximum of 600 rpm, and air dry. Do not hand wash, wring out, tumble dry, boil, bleach, iron, or dry clean.
Zanier Heated Gloves: Our heated gloves are not washable. For optimal drying of the gloves, we recommend our Dryer or Twin Dryer.

Für wen sind die beheizbaren Produkte nicht geeignet?

Heated products should not be used by individuals with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities. Individuals who cannot properly perceive heat or cold (e.g., people with diabetes, people with disabilities, etc.) or who have impaired skin sensation should consult a doctor before using heated textiles.

Wie sollten die beheizbaren Produkte verwendet werden?

The products work best when you turn them on at the lowest setting as soon as you leave the house. It is crucial that your body never gets cold. If your body has already gotten cold, the heated garments will no longer be able to warm it up. Therefore, ideally, use the products at the lowest setting from the start and increase the heat output as needed.

Meine beheizbaren Produkte werden nicht warm genug.

In the case of heated socks, please note that damp or cold shoes can significantly reduce the sensation of warmth.  If you still feel that the heated products are not warm or not warm enough, please contact us at +43 512 309 309  or info@zanier.com.
Note: The primary purpose of our heated products is to prevent your extremities from getting cold.

Akkus laden

1. Connect the USB charging cable to a USB power adapter and plug the USB power adapter into an outlet. The charging indicator lights up green.
2. Remove the contact covers and connect both Heat Batteries to the charging connectors on the charging cable. The Heat Batteries can be charged in any operating state.
3. The charging process begins after pressing the function button once.
4. The charging indicator lights up red during the charging process.
5. Once the Heat Batteries are fully charged, the charging process ends automatically and the charging indicator switches back to green or flashes red and green.
6. You can monitor the charge level directly on the Heat Battery by observing the LEDs, which light up in ascending order and remain lit, or optionally via the Zanier Heat Technology app.
7. Once charging is complete, please disconnect both Heat Batteries from the charging plugs.

Akku Steuerung

All Heat Batteries can be controlled manually using the push button. The 2600 mAh and 4000 mAh Heat Batteries can also be controlled via Bluetooth using the Zanier Heat Technology app.

Akku Lagerung

Before storing, discharge the Heat Battery (attach it to a heating product and run it on the highest setting) and then recharge it to half capacity (see user manual). DO NOT FULLY CHARGE! Store the Heat Battery turned off and disconnected from the charger. For long-term storage, we recommend discharging the Heat Batteries every 6 months and then recharging them to half capacity. Proper storage of the Heat Batteries maximizes battery performance and lifespan.

Stören die Heat Batteries das Signal eines LVS Gerätes?

Metal objects such as avalanche shovels, probes, water bottles, and Heat Batteries can interfere with electromagnetic fields. The technology used in Zanier heating products complies with all applicable legal guidelines.
Please check with the manufacturers of other sensitive electronic devices (e.g., avalanche transceivers, etc.) to determine whether Zanier products can be used near them.

Wozu sind die farbigen Gummibänder, die mit den Akkus mitgeliefert werden?

Each battery comes with 3 sets of 2 colored rubber bands. These can help with identification when using multiple batteries paired with the Zanier Heat Technology app. For example, the batteries for the Heated Socks and the Heated Gloves can be color-coded. The rubber bands are attached to the center of the battery so they cannot slip. Additionally, the batteries can be marked for each individual, for example, if multiple people in a family are using them.
