As our consignments may contain batteries and rechargeable batteries, we are obligated under the Battery Law (BattG) to inform you of the following:
Batteries and rechargeable batteries may not be disposed of with household waste. You are legally obligated as the end-user to return used batteries. Old batteries can contain harmful substances which can be detrimental to your health or the environment if they are not properly stored or disposed of. Batteries also contain important resources which can be used. You can send old batteries which used to be in our product range or which are now in our product range as new batteries to our shipping warehouse (shipping address) or return them free of charge close to home (i.e. in shops or in communal collection points).
The symbols displayed on the batteries have the following meaning:
- The symbol of the scored out refuse bin means that the battery must not be disposed of with household waste.
