Jamie Schmölzer is one of the most promising downhill rookies in Tyrol. The 17-year-old from Lienz is currently doing an apprenticeship as a structural engineer, but his great passion is his bike. He has been racing with full motivation for three years - ambitious, determined and always ready to give his all.

In 2025, his focus will be entirely on the European Downhill Cup and the IXS Downhill Cup. Jamie was already able to draw attention to himself with strong performances in 2024: He finished second in the IXS Cup in Spicak and 10th in the overall standings. He was also among the front runners in the Propain Rookies Cup and finished the season in 4th place.

Jamie has clear goals for 2025: Top ten placings in international races, participation in the Austrian championship and a place in the national downhill team.

Jamie's signature glove: MTB PRO - 85020 UX

When Jamie is out and about, there's one piece of equipment he can never do without: his MTB PRO glove. They provide a comfortable, secure grip on the handlebars. Whether on the downhill track or in training - the glove fits perfectly.
