Since Gabriel Wibmer joined the Zanier athletes in 2018, he has provided valuable input for the product development of highly functional gloves for the mountain bike, downhill & enduro segment. We also share common roots with the young talent from East Tyrol, as the Zanier brand was also at home in the district of Lienz for almost 50 years - and of course #mymountainpassion.

Athletes in focus: partnerships for first-class product development.

In order to be able to guarantee the best quality and function of our gloves, we have always relied on close cooperation with professionals in product development - after all, they know best what really matters! In addition to Gabriel Wibmer, the Großglockner mountain guide associations in Kals and Heiligenblut, the Tyrolean mountain rescue service, athletes such as Benjamin Karl, Patrick Bätz, Manuela Mandl or aviation athletes such as Roland Brunnbauer and Daniel Kofler and many more are also part of the #zanierfamily. In bike sports, the Tirol KTM Cycling Team is also supported in order to be present in road cycling.

Gabriel Wibmer: The fusion of adrenaline and creativity on two wheels.

Gabriel Wibmer combines speed and creativity on two wheels. He started with motocross at the age of five, then switched to the trials discipline and finally became interested in downhill racing. In 2016, he was crowned as the unofficial world champion in the U15 category. Since then, he has taken part in races in the UCI Downhill World Cup and the iXS European Downhill Cup. In addition to racing, he maintains an active social media presence on YouTube, Tik-Tok and Instagram, where his videos regularly generate millions of views. His best-known video "Late For School" already has over 14 million views. In his latest prank, Gabriel rides a gravel bike down a bike trail.

Productdevelopment of the Gabriel Wibmer Signature Glove.

The Gabriel Wibmer Signature Glove has been available since 2021 - a bike glove that the talented young rider has been intensively involved in developing. Gabriel's input on the design, coloring and, above all, the function of the gloves pushed the product development in the mountain bike, downhill & enduro segment.

Markus Zanier, CEO ZANIER Sport GmbH: "Young talents like Gabriel Wibmer and the KTM Cycling Team fit our philosophy of only working with the best. They are also very close to our company in Innsbruck, understand and share our mindset and our #mymountainpassion. I am always equally happy about joint development steps or sporting successes."

The 4-way stretch and elasticated wrist make the glove very comfortable, and the model is of course touchscreen-compatible. Gabriel's personal, very casual design: his personal signature color in combination with white and black, his signature on the backhand and palm in silicone print.
